L. Troy Buford

CEO & OWNER

Following graduation from Brigham Young University, Troy began his career in 1986 with Pepsico, working with the Frito-Lay Division. During his 11-year tenure, Troy worked in Sales and Marketing for the Salty Snack giant in five different areas of the country, including Director of Sales and Marketing for the Midwest Area from 1993-1996. Troy continued to work in the Consumer-Packaged Goods arena over the next six years, and settled with his family in Park City, Utah in 2000.

Leaving the Corporate World in 2002, Troy began as an Agent with Farmers Insurance Group, and has built an Agency from scratch. Troy and his insurance team operate their Agency from the same building as PMA, and provide a unique service to HOA’s, with insurance expertise to Associations and individual owners, and assisting with HOA Insurance requirements and laws specific to Utah. By offering unique services and insurance policies to businesses, Associations, families, and individuals throughout Utah, Troy has consistently been recognized for and awarded Top 10 performance among Utah Agencies.

In 2014, Troy and his wife purchased PMA from the original owners, and have assembled an exceptional team at PMA, enabling the expansion of services offered, as well as the growth of additional Associations and clients to PMA’s portfolio.

Troy has many hobbies, geared to the great outdoor offerings of Park City. Troy is an avid mountain biker, skier, hiker, and enjoys world travel. Troy and his wife are the parents of four grown sons, and a young daughter whom they adopted in 2014.

Community Managers

Tanner

General Manager & Community Manager

Tanner began his career in property management in 2008, working for a large firm in Salt Lake City. Following seven successful years in the Valley, he joined the PMA team in 2015 as a community manager. In early 2016, Tanner was promoted to General Manager at PMA and has played a key role in the growth of the team and the company over the past three years. As a 10-year veteran in the industry, Tanners’ experience in Utah HOA law and policy provide PMA’s clients with clear direction and knowledge to effectively move their Associations forward as a community.

Eric

Community Manager & Field Manager

Eric began at PMA in 2011 as Field Supervisor. Prior to that, he worked as a construction superintendent for 20 years, providing him with unique troubleshooting capabilities for PMA clients. During Eric’s seven-year tenure with PMA, he has managed our Field Technicians, overseen several large irrigation and landscape beautification projects, and now directly manages several client Associations as a Community Manager. Coupling his prior experience with his growth opportunities at PMA, Eric is exceptionally well-versed in the detailed elements of each of our client properties, providing valuable insight and creativity in problem solving for our Associations.

Juan

Community Manager & I.T.

Juan is a property management veteran in Park City with seven years of varied property management including Luxury Hotels, Affordable Housing, Commercial and Residential management. Juan has successfully managed teams and operations of various sizes; while also training his teams to establish efficiently smooth operations. Before entering the property management industry, Juan spent a combined eight years in the construction industry, customer service/retail industry, and sales/tech-support industry. This resume has made him a well-rounded addition to the PMA team as of 2016. Since then, he has demonstrated attention to detail and undying commitment to his client’s needs. Juan is currently working on obtaining his Bachelor degree in Business Management, with emphasis in Entrepreneurial Management. All while enjoying stand-up comedy shows, and serving his community.

Accounting

Tana

Accounting & Office Manager - A/P

Tana has worked in the property management industry for the past eight years. Beginning her career in the Salt Lake City market, she managed a successful multi-million-dollar accounting department, and developed important accounting skills. Her skillset and responsibilities also include software interchange, client acquisition, collection and legal practices, marketing, client relations, and employee training. Tana joined the PMA team in March of 2017. She manages both our accounting and office departments, effectively streamlining business practices and delivering exceptional work for our clients. Tana enjoys hiking in the great outdoors, catching a riveting Jazz game, spending time with nieces and nephews, and challenging herself with her new-found love of the gym.
